Sia is the price-conscious model in LEDON Explore The Explore universe has playground equipment for every need. Sia is the smallest model in the Explore series, but still offers scope for challenges and fun. The short rope ladder extends up to the tower, which has a floor height of 90 cm, from where you can look out across the playground or zoom down the slide. Underneath is a small den, where the diamond panel encourages concentrated play and stimulates fine motor skills. Sia is a compact play system With its triangular floor, Sia is suitable for areas with limited space. Sia requires an area of 6.2 x 4.2 metres. The fall height is 90 cm, so Sia should ideally stand on grass. However, this is not always recommended, as grass soon wears out, and the ground becomes too hard to function as a suitable safety surface. The system is designed for children from about three years of age, and the non-slip floor ensures that even the smallest feet stand securely.

Galvanised and lacquered posts

The posts are powder-coated in beautiful colours to match our theme worlds while also being protected from rust by hot-dip galvanising.

Non-toxic and recyclable polyethylene

The polyethylene boards are 100% recyclable, and contain no hazardous chemicals. They are approved according to the specific requirements of both the EU Toy Safety Directive EN 71 and the US Food Directive.

Social and language skills

The play equipment offers ample opportunities for children to engage in cooperative play. It grows their social and language skills, which is key to developing relationships and friendships.

Role-play

Children love role-play. It improves their understanding of themselves and their surroundings, because by imitating the world around them, they learn more about patterns of behaviour, social interaction and handling emotions.

Strengthens immersion and concentration

Playground areas where children can withdraw and immerse themselves in an activity improve their concentration and ability to focus.

The bird’s nest

The bird’s nest is ideal for developing very young children’s motor skills and vestibular sense, while older children use it as a social gathering point.

Stimulates the sense of touch

Playing with sand and moving parts stimulates children’s sense of touch, which is fundamental to all sensory motor development. This is how children ‘feel the world’ and get to know it.
