MUGAs can be installed in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. Morti Sport will have the solution for you and your budget. Many fencing options, colours and designs are available along with sport specific surfacing solutions and Ultisport surfaces that can be used by a range of sports with minimum maintenance.

Sports surfaces have very precise performance requirements. They have to be smooth and even to ensure consistent playing characteristics. They also need to be durable enough to maintain this surface over time as well as being safe for all users to help reduce the risk of injury. Ultisport is a specific type of tarmac designed for MUGAs. It delivers long term durability due to the aggregates specially selected. Ultisport also incorporates a modified binder to provide the enhanced surface integrity required to cope with high volume team sports, improve workability and resist softening in the summer. Ultisportis also quicker draining than conventional surfaces which extends playing time for users meaning that the courts are available for use shortly after rainfall. Safety is key to everything we do at Morti Sport and Play. The porosity of Ultisportreduces the impact of the surface water, therefore reducing the risk of slipping and ice forming in the winter. All of this means that the court is available more often and also reduces the risk of injury to people using the court. We only use Ultisport for our MUGAs when a macadam surface is required. This is because this product is specifically for MUGAs and is a brilliant surface to play on. We don’t believe in specifying the incorrect surface (even if it is cheaper) as we believe in only offering our clients long-lasting solutions. Using a standard macadam finish would not provide a good finish and would result in the MUGA being unlikely to perform to the correct standard.

Fencing around Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs) is essential for creating versatile and secure spaces for various sporting activities. Fencing plays a crucial role in defining specific playing areas and preserving the integrity of the games. MUGAs are dynamic spaces that accommodate various sports. This requires fencing that easily establishes clear boundaries for each activity. These fences create defined perimeters, preventing interference between different gamesand allowing players to focus on their chosen sport without disruptions. 3m High Rebound Fencing means you can get a ball and hit it very hard against the fence and it will rebound back. It's designed to be resilient and its intended use is for a ball court. Durability is a key requirement of any sporting perimeter. Each steel panel features twin 8mm wires welded on either side of 6mm vertical wires making them extremely difficult to cut through or damage. These wires are highly ridged too, adding to the strength of the fence even when under stress from people, balls or sports equipment. Our welded steel wire finish fencing panels are galvanised and polyester powder coated. We can match any RAL colour with this fencing. Our fencing also conforms to BS1722 and conforms to British Safety Standards for open mesh steel panel fences.

Morti Sport’s groundwork team undertakes all aspects of the project from the initial site meeting, where measurements and requirements are taken, to fully designed and costed schemes.  Our groundwork team will complete all excavations ready for our surfacing, fencing and floodlight specialists to complete the project.
