The Large Pyramid Rope Climber is a bold, high-capacity red rope climbing structure designed for parks, schools, councils and community play areas that want a visually striking and physically challenging centrepiece. Standing 3m tall with a 9.61m² footprint, it offers more climbing surface and greater challenge than smaller pyramid models — ideal for older children, confident climbers and high-footfall public environments. Multiple children can climb simultaneously from any direction, building upper-body strength, balance and coordination while the open pyramid structure keeps users visible to supervisors at all times. The bold red rope makes a strong visual statement, drawing children in and establishing the climber as a focal point within any playground design. Built with a reinforced central steel mast, braided nylon rope and galvanised steel tension anchors, this climber is engineered for long-term outdoor performance with minimal maintenance requirements. Construction & Materials

The climbing structure uses braided nylon rope engineered for high tensile strength, UV resistance and consistent performance under heavy daily use. A reinforced central steel mast provides exceptional rigidity and corrosion resistance as the pyramid's main load-bearing column.

The footprint is stabilised using galvanised steel tension anchors, maintaining correct structural tension and net geometry during multi-user play. Reinforced aluminium or polymer rope connectors throughout the net ensure secure, long-lasting junctions.

Who It's For

Suited to parks, council playgrounds, housing development play areas and school playgrounds seeking a high-impact climbing feature with strong visual presence. The larger footprint and taller mast offer a greater challenge for older or more confident climbers, making this a natural step up from the small and medium pyramid models in the range.

Safety & Installation

Independently tested and certified to EN1176 playground equipment safety standards. With a fall height of 2.1m, appropriate impact-absorbing surfacing to EN1177 is required — Morti Sport & Play can advise on wetpour, rubber mulch or grass mat options.
