Overview
A single-bay nest swing with four Robinia legs and a 3.14 m steel crossbar on steel mounting plates. The Ø1.2 m rope nest lets several children swing together, or one child sit or lie back and rock, giving calming vestibular movement and building core strength, balance and cooperation. The legs are set about 90 cm deep in concrete. The free-fall height is 1.5 m, so the swing needs a 26.5 m² safety zone with impact-absorbing surfacing: EN 1177 synthetic surfacing or 300 mm of loose fill. It suits schools, parks and natural play areas for ages 3+, and we supply and install it with our own teams.
